We had never used a rental broker before, so we initially thought the service cost for a broker was a bit steep (we think t is applies to all brokers). But after comparing our apartment with those that our friends found through other brokers, we clearly have the BEST deal out of all of our friends (some of them are paying $1,000 a month more for similar location and amenities, and others pay a similar price but for a worse location).
